Flattrack Fridays

National Pro Class – open to current and ex national number riders. Making a Grand Final at an STUK meeting during 2009 will also entitle you to ride in this class.
Restricted Shorttrack Class – for riders who have never held a national plate and do not make a grand final at a STUK meeting during 2009, riding Shorttrack or Thunderbike machines.
Thunderbike Class – open to riders with Thunderbike machines.
Open Quad Class – for quad bikes running to Shorttrack Quad rules.

FLATTRACK SCHOOL 2009 DATES

THE CCM FLATTRACK SCHOOL IS DESIGNED FOR COMPLETE NOVICE RIDERS TO TRY THEIR HAND AT FLATTRACK AND FOR INTERMEDIATE RIDERS TO LEARN NEW RACING SKILLS

It is a full days training on CCM FT35 and CCM 230 bikes.
The day starts with a rider's briefing, then the riders will be split into groups with an instructor. He will create a small oval with cones and demonstrate how to work the rear brake to step it out and also counter steering when powersliding out of the corner. You will spend a couple of hours honing these skills, before moving to the big oval and starting work on one bend where you will put into practice the skills you learnt on the small oval.
After lunch which is provided, it is back to the track with individual riding with an instructor working on different racing lines around the track. You will move into group riding, running open practice sessions at the end of the day, with multi distance race lap practice sessions.

Under 16's £149 for the day or £75 for ACU licence holders.

Kings Lynn Practice..
Riders, here's a great chance to give the new machines a good test session at the Norfolk Arena, just two weeks before the first round. It's a private test session and will only be open for shorttrack riders, on Sunday April 19th, 4.30pm to 6.30pm, £25 for registatered riders and £30 none registatered.
